MEET THE TEAM

Frida Muñoz,
PsyD

Frida (she/her) believes that every person carries stories and identities worth honoring, and that therapy can be a place where those stories are met with curiosity, compassion, and respect. Frida views therapy as a dynamic, empowering space for transformation, where unique strengths are nurtured through self-compassion and insight. She strives to create a therapeutic environment of safety, warmth, authenticity, and creativity, supporting greater self-understanding and a deeper awareness of the world clients navigate.

Frida provides bilingual care in English and Spanish to clients across the lifespan, including older adults. She works primarily from a relational, psychodynamic perspective, grounded in the understanding that we are profoundly shaped by early relationships and experiences. Recognizing that growth happens differently for each person, Frida collaborates with clients to tailor treatment in ways that align with their unique needs, values, and strengths.

Frida is a Registered Psychological Associate (LIC #PSB94029139), practicing under the professional supervision of Gabrielle Taylor, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist (PSY22054). She received her B.A. in Psychology from Biola University and M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology.
