MEET THE TEAM

Patrick Orr,
MA, AMFT

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” –Rumi

Patrick (he/him) believes we each carry an inherent inner wisdom for our own healing, and that therapy is a space to gently uncover and reconnect with that. He offers affirmative, trauma-informed care and works to create a therapeutic environment grounded in empathy, curiosity, and non-judgment. Together, we can explore your experiences, thoughts, and feelings with openness and care—making space for both vulnerability and growth.

Patrick’s approach is informed by somatic practices, including mindfulness and nervous system regulation, with an awareness of how our experiences are held in both mind and body. He values creativity, imagery, metaphor and humor as pathways to insight and connection. As a queer man, he is committed to providing an inclusive and affirming space for clients of all identities.

Patrick has personally experienced the transformative impact of therapy and brings a compassionate, empathetic perspective that is shaped by his own challenges and experiences. Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationships, or internal struggles, he offers a steady, collaborative presence in support of greater clarity, self-understanding, and hope.

Patrick is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. He holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara with a specialization in Somatic Psychotherapy. He volunteers at the Pasadena Humane Society, loves dogs, and is interested in TV/Film, pop culture, and creative expression.
