Stevie
Weinstein-Foner,
MA, AMFT, APCC
As a therapist, Stevie (he/him) hopes to help you find greater meaning, depth, and complexity in navigating the joys and challenges of human life. Through compassion, warmth, humor, and curiosity, Stevie endeavors to foster a collaborative, safe, and inclusive space in which to discover and process the intricacies of your experience. Grounded in the belief that therapy can be a transformational and radical act, he has seen how the healing power of relationship can bring greater change to ourselves, our families, and our communities.
Stevie’s clinical orientation is relational, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and above all based on the understanding that each person has unique needs that require a unique approach to the process of therapy. As an artist, musician, partner, and father, he brings his own understanding and experience to the needs of creative artists, parents, and couples. He values diversity, is informed by cultural humility, and welcomes clients of all ethnicities, as well as those in the LGBTQ+ community.
Stevie is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. He holds an MA from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Counseling Psychology and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College.
