Will Oliver,
MSW Candidate

Will Oliver (he/they) uses a psychodynamic and relational approach to create a warm and supportive environment for therapy. Will works with adults, adolescents, and couples. He blends strategies for change with practices that expand our capacities for tolerance. Using a holistic framework, Will believes one’s problems do not define who they are but exist within the context of broader social, political, and cultural systems. His clinical interests include trauma-informed care, liberation psychology, and psychoanalytic theory. 

Will is an MSW candidate at the Smith School for Social Work. He graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in both Gender Studies and Ethnic Studies from the University of Portland. He is a white clinician whose practice is rooted in cultural humility and an anti-racist framework. Identifying as a queer person, Will has personal insight into the challenges faced by this population and is passionate about providing queer and trans-affirming care. In his free time, Will enjoys reading, movies, working out, mountain biking, and podcasts.
