Course Description
NeuroRelational Framework (NRF) faculty Jessica Richards offers an interactive training day using the therapeutic tools aimed at promoting regulation, relationships and resiliency. Rooted in neuroscience, the NRF provides assessment and intervention focused on the autonomic nervous system, individual differences, and relationships. The nervous system underlies all aspects of functioning and yet is not routinely brought into the therapy room and conscious awareness. This awareness is a powerful therapeutic tool and opens new possibilities to support growth.
Learn the four nervous system stress states and the physiological markers of each. Paired with assessment of individual differences in the body, sensory system, emotions and cognition tools emerge to decrease stress responses and promote regulation. Relationships are potent drivers of development and wellbeing. Subjective reflection of relationships is meaningful and is enhanced using the tools of the NRF to provide operationalized clarity and growth areas. This training will include dynamic lecture enriched with hands-on activity, application, reflection, case illustration and conversation. This training is intended for practitioners working with children, teens, adults with applications for couples work as well. We hope you will partake in this incredible opportunity to add more tools to your repertoire. Jessica is a passionate and dynamic trainer with deep expertise in this modality and nearly two decades of clinical experience working with complex profiles.
